blown glass, ceramic 25 x 25 x 45 cm With the support of the Martell Fundation

The ceramic base is cylindrical and represents a core, geological cut. Lands of different compositions and colours evoke the strata of the basement. The upper part of the carrots bear the footprint of the soil of vineyards. On these carrots glass is blown. The pieces are blown into a mould made with old staves used in the manufacture of Martell cognac. The coloured glass reproduces the warm hues of cognac. The white upper part evokes evaporation of the alcolhool.

The glass keeps track of the wood of the staves and the relief of the ground.
